New hero K’unkka ported to Dota 2 from Dota: Origins
Creators continue to create new characters for the game
The public is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new character
Valve has announced the new Dota 2 Champion, K’unkka. K’unkka is a versatile melee strength hero who excels at controlling the battlefield with his AoE abilities and crowd-control debuffs. He joins the large roster of Dota 2 heroes who have been carefully crafted with unique skills, lore, and playing styles.
K’unkka’s lore reveals his deep connection to the sea. Born to a humble fisherman, he discovered his knack for navigating treacherous waters and controlling them. After proving his worth as a tenacious sailor, he was chosen to guard the Tidehunters, powerful artifacts tied to the primordial forces of the sea. Wielding these artifacts, he became a force to be reckoned with, defending the seas from threats and earning the respect of both allies and foes.
In Dota 2, K’unkka continues to showcase his prowess as a formidable warrior. His Tidebringer passive grants him a chance to unleash a devastating critical strike on his enemies, making him a threat in both lane skirmishes and team fights. His Torrent ability summons a rushing wave of water that damages and slows enemies, allowing him to initiate engagements, set up kills, or secure objectives.
