Harry Potter Alum Reveals What She Wants to See From HBO Adaptation

Bonnie Wright Has Some Ideas

Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the "Harry Potter" films, recently shared her thoughts on what she would like to see in the upcoming HBO adaptation of the series.

In an interview with Insider, Wright said that she hopes the show will explore the characters' backstories and relationships in more depth.

"I think it would be really interesting to see the Marauders' era," she said. "I think that would be a really cool way to explore the backstory of some of the characters that we know and love."

Wright also said that she would like to see more of the female characters' stories.

"I think there's so much more to explore with the female characters," she said. "I think it would be really cool to see more of their friendships and relationships."

Wright's comments echo those of many fans who have been eagerly anticipating the HBO adaptation.

The show, which is set to premiere in 2025, will be the first live-action adaptation of the "Harry Potter" books since the film series ended in 2011.

What We Know So Far

HBO has not released many details about the upcoming adaptation, but we do know that it will be a prequel to the "Harry Potter" films.

The show will follow the lives of Harry Potter's parents, James and Lily Potter, and their friends, the Marauders.

The Marauders were a group of four friends who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1970s.

They were known for their mischief and their close friendship.

The Marauders included James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew.

James Potter and Lily Evans were both members of the Order of the Phoenix, a secret society that fought against Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

They were killed by Voldemort in 1981, when Harry was just a baby.
