Former Germany international to sign for Inter Milan
Former Borussia Dortmund and Germany defender Mats Hummels is set to join Italian club Inter Milan, according to reports in Germany.
The 34-year-old is out of contract at Dortmund at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to several clubs, including Inter, Juventus and Manchester United.
But according to German newspaper Bild, Hummels has now agreed to join Inter on a free transfer.
Hummels joined Dortmund from Bayern Munich in 2019 and has made over 250 appearances for the club, winning the Bundesliga title twice and the DFB-Pokal three times.
He has also been capped 76 times by Germany, winning the 2014 World Cup.
Hummels' move to Inter would see him reunite with former Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who joined the Italian club in the summer.
