Long-term partnership between CCC and France continues
Ottawa – The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) announced on 12 August 2024 that it has signed a government-to-government (G2G) contract with France's Direction Générale de Armament (DGA) for the purchase of 12 De Havilland Canada (DHC) DHC-515 waterbombers.
The contract includes the provision of spare parts, training, and maintenance support for the aircraft. This acquisition is the result of ongoing cooperation between the CCC, DHC, the European Union's Civil Protection Mechanism (EU-CPM), and France.
The EU-CPM's RescEU program is supporting the acquisition of DHC-515 aircraft for Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, and France, with a total of 22 aircraft to be delivered.
