August Community Day Classic Features Beldum

Special Box and Beldum's Return

Niantic has revealed the details for August 2024's Community Day Classic event, which will feature the Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon Beldum. During the event, Beldum will appear more frequently in the wild, and players will have the chance to encounter its Shiny form. Additionally, a special Ultra Community Day Box will be available in the in-game shop, featuring 10 Ultra Balls, an Elite Charged TM, and a Special Research ticket.

Event Details

The August 2024 Community Day Classic event will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. During the event, Beldum will appear more frequently in the wild, and players will have the chance to encounter its Shiny form.

In addition to the increased Beldum spawns, the special Ultra Community Day Box will be available in the in-game shop. The box will contain 10 Ultra Balls, an Elite Charged TM, and a Special Research ticket. The Special Research ticket will grant access to a unique storyline and rewards, including an encounter with a Beldum that knows the exclusive move Meteor Mash.

This will be the ninety-first Community Day event, and the fifth Community Day Classic event. Community Day Classic events feature Pokémon that have been previously featured in past Community Day events. Beldum was originally featured in May 2019, so this will be a chance for players who missed out on that event to catch a Beldum and its Shiny form.
